Access Green's CEO, Joe Andronaco, is one the Mid Atlantic region's most respected contractors. In the last several years, he has received numerous awards, including the "Greater Washington Minority Business Leader of the Year" Award from the Washington Business Journal," the Contractor's Choice Award" from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and the 'Contractor of the Year' Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors. Joe is an appointed member of Mayor Adrian Fenty's 'Green Jobs Task Force' and is also an appointed member of the Sustainable Energy Utility Advisory Board. Previous to his work in the contracting industry, Joe worked in investment banking from New York to Buenos Aires. Joe has an MBA from the Wharton School.
Access Green's President, Sam Brooks, is a leader in the local energy efficiency industry. A recipient of an Environmental Excellence Award from Mayor Adrian Fenty in 2009, Sam has a number of notable accomplishments, including: helping conceive of, acquire funding for, and manage one of the city's largest green jobs training programs; managing a DC contract to weatherize 600 homes and train dozens of residents to perform the work; contractor for the District's landmark "Green Jobs Demand Analysis." Sam is the former Vice President of a local workforce development advocacy group and a legislative aide for the DC Council. He also helped lead the development of the Vince Gray for Mayor campaign's economic development policy and platform.
