Access Green understands that working towards a greener world will require numerous contributing factors– from Alternative Fueled Vehicles to Smart Grids. One vital area to reducing carbon emissions is Energy Efficiency; that is the sandbox in which we play.

It has been estimated that a national commitment to energy efficiency would reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 1.1 gigatons per year — the equivalent of taking “the equivalent of taking the entire U.S. fleet of passenger vehicles and light trucks off the roads.” (McKinsey, 2009) Access Green is proud to play a role, in any way we can, in that process.

Our People

Access Green’s CEO, Joe Andronaco, is one the Mid Atlantic region’s most respected contractors. In the last several years, he has received numerous awards, including the “Greater Washington Minority Business Leader of the Year” Award from the Washington Business Journal,” the Contractor’s Choice Award” from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and the ‘Contractor of the Year’ Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors. Joe is an appointed member of Mayor Adrian Fenty’s ‘Green Jobs Task Force’ and is also an appointed member of the Sustainable Energy Utility Advisory Board. Previous to his work in the contracting industry, Joe worked in investment banking from New York to Buenos Aires. Joe has an MBA from the Wharton School.
